19 - behold, a new state of being
In the bareness of winter’s final days are revealed the buds of spring’s beginning. If you do not know of the potential embedded in the bud, you cannot imagine what is to come.
Do you shiver through the winter forgetting that spring is in the works? Do you see the bud of your future? The fantastic form to which the bud soon will give birth?
There is no need to seek a medium to sense the extraordinary potential of what is budding in your own life. You have only to attune your sensitivity. Accept the limits of your sight perception on which you tend to rely the most. Acknowledge the limits of your analytical mind as your trusted guide to reality.
Bring yourself near to the buds of early spring and listen to their whisper.
There is nothing you need to do to make them bloom. You can’t tug on a bud to make it bloom faster. Nor would you want to, once you know what is to come. The bud is beautiful like the blossom.
February beckons you to flash upon your inward eye the field of daffodils, yet unfurled. Your outward eye will behold their florescence in March. The quality of bliss is just the same. Look upon your life as a continuous flow towards florescence.
Acknowledge the power within your budding self, whilst your final form has yet to reveal itself.
Unlike a daffodil bud that can become nothing else, you are free to become what you choose. But it won't happen without your absolute attention. You will need to become clear in your intent, beyond hesitation. You will need to plug into the uplifting emotions of your future rather than the drag of your past.
So it is that by thought alone, you can feel your desired future in the present moment. You can feel the emotions before the event has come to pass. Your brain cannot even tell the difference. It is as if all has already happened. You become like the joyful observer of a bud in the early spring. You already know how the bud flows into florescence.
Behold, this is your new state of being! You are ripe for spring to explode within you.
