Under the moonlight

you have entranced me,

By your soft glow

Utterly bewitched me.

They say its beams deceive,

That blind are eyes of love.

​Yet, in my half-lucid enchantment

I have seen what others cannot,

a fleeting glimpse

of your seedling glory,

an enduring image

of what you are meant to be,

​beheld at the dawn of all possibility.
