Reign over me.

For it is written:

“You shall have no other gods before me.”

I have blasphemed and bowed down to you,

my goddess.

I have forsaken all claims to heaven,

and returned to the paradise of earth,

where you have revealed in me the divine.

Rain upon me.

Let me drink and be filled. For I have written: From her shall flow rivers of living water,

and he who comes to drink of them shall never thirst again.

Reign

Quench my parched heart.

Let me be slain for you,

And see me rise again.
